Bill ShoreBill Shore

Bill Shore had his first songs recorded by music legends such as Billy Walker, Claude King, Mel Street and David Houston. Those early recordings inspired and motivated a young writer to work harder and his first top 20 record came from the great Tammy Wynette, “You Still Get To Me In My Dreams”. Through the ups and downs of the business he received encouragement from great artists and writers such as Johnny Russell, Conway Twitty, and Merle Haggard to push on. That encouragement paid off in Number One Songs by, Charley Pride, “Every Heart Should Have One”, George Strait, “I’d Like To Have That One Back”, and Sawyer Brown, “Trouble On The Line”. Top Tens by Garth Brooks, “Wild Horses”, as well as Marie Bottrell in Canada and over one hundred songs recorded by artists such as Porter Waggoner, Chris LeDoux, Vern Gosdin, Moe Bandy to name a few. Ray ScottRay Scott

Warner Bros. Records released Ray Scott's debut album in November 2005 to an overwhelming enthusiastic reception.  Something new and fresh was on the horizon.  My Kind of Music became the #1 selling country album on Billboard's "Heatseeker's" chart that week and the #1 selling album on CMT's (Country Music Television) sales chart.  The album landed on the "Top 10 Albums of 2005" lists in Billboard, Dallas Morning News and the Miami Herald to name a few.  Shooter Jennings has been a vocal fan of Ray's music.  A year later, Warner Bros. Records stalled and Ray entered a waiting area that would seemingly delay the release of his sophomore album indefinitely....until now.

It was Nashville's strong songwriting community where he dug his heels in and began writing in earnest.  He studied the craft of songwriting, trying to learn everything he could about what makes a great song great.  People began to pay attention the name Ray Scott and he landed a publishing deal with Tom Collins.   The years of dedication to his craft finally began to pay off when Randy Travis ("Pray for the Fish") and Clay Walker ("A Few Questions") had hit singles with his songs.

It was an ode to his upbringing - the hard-driving, attitude-drenched "Plowboy" - that caught Warner Bros. and producer Paul Worley's ear.  They green lighted a record deal and Ray Scott's debut album hit the street.

Capitalizing on the success of his debut release as well as a current national tour, The Honky Tonk Tailgate Party 2008 with Mark Wills, Trent Willmon and Buddy Jewell, the timing was perfect to release Crazy Like Me - a ten song collection written exclusively by Ray and his longtime friend and co-writer Phillip Moore.

"Doing it this way is gonna be challenging, but I've been gambling in Nashville for 13 years," Ray says.  "Why the hell not bet on myself?!   Thanks to all you supporters out there. You guys and gals keep my heart in it. Others have tried to take it out.  Bottom line is...somebody's gotta keep real country music alive....there ain't as many of us around as there used to be..."

Sara BeckSara Beck

Sara Beck moved to Nashville straight out of high school in the Maryland suburbs to attend Vanderbilt University in the legendary Music City. Having grown up singing with her parents’ country band as well as her own bands as a teenager, she was already an experienced performer when she made the move. She graduated at the top of her class in Cognitive Psychology while beginning to perform original songs at writer’s nights around town and touring with regional acts as a background vocalist. Sara released her first record of original tunes, a self-titled independent EP, in 1999, and followed it up with 2001’s Open Window. Her 2009 release, “Music For Lovers & Fighters,” is debuting to rave reviews.

“It’s been an adventure chasing my sound as a singer and settling into my voice as a writer,” she says. “I’ve always been so passionate about being on stage, but touching someone with a song you’ve written---making them laugh or cry---is something I didn’t expect to get hooked on quite like I did. To sing a song and have people in the audience willing to go to that place with you---it’s a privilege, really. ”

Sara has performed as an acoustic guitarist and background vocalist for Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Cowboy Troy, and countless local and regional acts. Additionally, in December 2007, she was asked to sit in with Stevie Wonder at the Nashville stop of his first major tour in 12 years. She performed her song, “To Love Somebody,” backed by Stevie and his band. Meanwhile, her songs are just begining to find homes with major recording artists. “Every day is another chance to write the best song I’ve ever written...it’s wide open. Anything is possible.”
